Step 1 warming up
1、Enjoy a song: Are you doing it too?
(师生共唱:Are you doing it too?营造愉悦的课堂氛围,为新知学习做好充分的情绪准备和知识准备)
Look and say.
教师呈现动作图片,学生用He/She’s…描述正在发生的行为和动作。
Let’s guess : What are they doing?为新知的学习做好更进一步的准备。
Step 2 Presentation
The teacher shows the picture of Amy in China, let students watch the video of Activity 2 . Listen and answer how many interesting places can they see?
Students watch the video again, find the words with “ing”.Then answer what are they doing?
What are they doing in the park ?------They’re doing taijiquan. 部分学生表演打太极拳,部分学生回答:They’re doing taijiquan.
What are they doing on the lake?------They are rowing a dragon boat.
The teacher do the action: row a dragon boat. Whole class do the actions, too. The teacher ask: What are you doing? Students answer: We are rowing a dragon boat.
What are they doing between the big trees?——They’re playing chess. 学生结对开火车朗读回答。
Look at these girls. What are they drinking?——They’re drinking soya milk. 用自然拼读法教学drink, 学生当小老师带读。
Step 3 Practice
Listen and repeat.Try to imitate Amy and Daming.
Read in pairs. One student reads Daming and another one reads Amy. Then act out.
Read in groups. Boys read Daming and girls read Amy.
