Step 1 Warming-up:
1. Greetings and playing a game called “Sing a different tune”.
The teacher explains the rules of the game,
The rule is: when the teacher says ABC using the applause, students say CBA using applause, too.
2. Let’s do. Teacher says ABC and the students say CBA. Single student and the others do it again.
Step 2 Presentation:
1. After the game, teachers give praising to students.
Use the sentences:
You are good. He is good.
She is good. We are good.
From these sentences, teacher let students know “be” contains “am, is and are”.
Conclude the use of “be”.
Then students read the arithmetic tables of “be”.
2. Courseware shows some pictures.
Teacher says “What are they doing?”
Students answer the question using information from the pictures.
3. Using games to read the sentences.
Four students come to the platform to read sentences on the PPT.
If the students don’t read “is/are/present participle ” , he or she crouches.
If the students read these, he or she stands.
Role playing
Girls are A and boys are B to play the role to read the text together.
Explain the continuous tense including definition, symbol word and structure.
