教学准备:
教师准备单词卡片:horse 、there is 、there are 、have a look 、sheep 、climb 、vegetable、 face。
教学过程:
Step One:Warm-up and lead-in( about 4 min)
Greeting,then sing a chant.
Play a game“I do, you guess”. Teacher does the action, Ss guess: singing, swimming, playing basketball, riding a bike, and so on.(激活知识)
Step Two:Presentation(about 3 min)
Show the photo of the text. (A girl is riding a horse), Let Ss discuss: What can you see? (Help Ss answer), then teaches the key sentence: There is a …in this photo.
Listen to the tape. (整体感知如何描述图画)
Listen and repeat. (学着说,并提醒学生注意模仿语音语调,感知今天要学的内容There is……的用语,为新课学习做铺垫)
Step Three: Text learning (about 20 min)
1、Listen to the tape. (整体感知如何描述图画)
2、Teach the new words“there is”,“horse”.
3、Show a picture, and then ask“What are Sam and Amy talking about?”Ss try to answer the question. They are talking about some nice photos.

4、Listen to the tape. Then answer the question“How many photos are they talking about?”. (带着问题听录音,试着回答,进一步了解课文内容,为学习目标语句打基础)
