Step 1 Warm up
Greeting
Sing a song: London Bridge is falling down.
Talk: (Show a picture of my son) This is Xu Xi. He is my son. He is cool ,and he is very clever , too. Sometimes he is very naughty .But he is not a bad boy.
Step 2、 Lead in
(Show a picture of Shipingling Primary School ) Do you know where it is? It’s Shipingling Primary School. It’s very old.
(Write “It’s very old.” on the blackboard . )
Step 3 Studying List’s Activity 1
Take out the Studying List . Do the Activity 1 .
Group leader show the questions .And solve all of them.
Teach Big Ben ,Hyde Park ,Tower Bridge, and do the reading practice.
Show : Read it again and let one group read it.
Step 4 Text
Show pictures of Text 1. Listen to the tape and learn the word”famous”.(If nessesary ,show a picture of the Great Wall to help them to understand it.)
