Teaching methods: Task-based learning Individual, pair and group work

Teaching aids: A computer, a recorder and some pictures .

Teaching procedures

Step 1: Let’s chant. Sunday Monday Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday Friday ,and we will have Saturday.

Step 2: lead-in.

Ask and answer.

T: spring is coming . what will you do ?

S: I will go to the park.

I will do my homework.

I will help my mother.

T:You are so good today. And I will have a picnic.

Step 3 presentation

Look at the ppt, a picture to show the meaning of picnic. Teach them to read.

Show the pictures of Amy, Daming and Daming’s father.

T: who is she/he?

Divide them into two groups. Girls are Amy ,and boys are Daming.

T: Look at the DV. Then answer: what are they going to do on Saturday?

Ask a student to answer this question.

Then teacher say: ”so, if you are going to have a picnic, what will you take? ”

Teach the word “take”.

Let them think and answer one by one.

After they say some answers, the teacher say:” if I was you, I will take a kite. Will you take your kite?”

Write the import sentence on the blackboard. Teach them ,tell them the meaning, and how to answer this sentence. “Yes, I will. / No, I won’t. ”

Step 3 lean the book.

Listen to video , answer three questions.

Will Amy take the kite tomorrow?

Will Amy take the ball tomorrow?
