通过对比过去和现在的变化,教育学生要学会感恩,感恩父母、亲人、老师和朋友。让学生更好地珍惜现在的美好生活,通过对本课的学习,培养学生细心观察、乐于发现的学习态度。
三、教学重点:
1. 理解be动词和它对应的过去式,正确使用人称和be动词,使其搭配正确。
2、能听懂、会说、会读句型:He/She was …then. They /you were…then.
四、教学难点:
能够区别运用am,is,are和was,were, 来对比描述自己或他人过去与现在状态的变化。

Step 1:Warm-up and lead in.
1.Let’s chant.
2. Look at Sam’s photos and compare. Listen , point and say.
3. Look at my photo and guess. Show the title: I was two then. Teach the words “ was,then”
4.Look at several photos , compare and say.Tell the students the past tense “was,were”.
Step 2: Task presentation
Use the words“was,were” to talk about something about the past .
After this class we can compare the difference between the past and the present .
Step 3: Text learning
Look, listen and answer.Who are they in the photo? Teach the word: grandparents.
Look at the pictures and teach the words : young _old
Ask some questions in groups. Who is that little girl? How old was Lingling then? Was Lingling’s hair short then?
4. Look at the pictures .Teach the words “hair”, “ long-short ”
5.Let’s listen and answer.
6.Teach the sentence: You were so cute.
7.Practise. Fill in the blanks.
8.Listen and say.
9.Practise in groups. Role play ,please.
