【教学过程】

Step1：warm-up激趣导入

1.带领学生唱有关过去时的一首歌曲“I Was Fat”, 充分调动学生的积极性。

2.让学生欣赏深圳现在的图片和过去的图片导出课题Was it a big city then? ??

Step2: LEAD-in

1.Oppisite Game.Share pictures(出示一些过去和现在的照片，复习旧知。）

2.展示图片:学习单词“strong”

3.展示图片:学习单词“strong”

Step3：Presentation

New sentences.?Look at this picture about Shenzhen. --Is it a big city? —Yes, it is.课件出示几幅深圳现在的照片。让学生描述现在的深圳。How do you feel about Shen Zhen??

S2:?It’s?very?beautiful.?

S3:?It’s?very?famous.?

引导学生说出：Shenzhen?is?a?big?city?now. Now Look at another picture about Shenzhen. (展示出一张过去深圳的照片）T:?过去的深圳是怎样的呢？ Let me guess, Was it a big city then? ?

Let’s ?have?a?look.课件出示深圳旧时的照片。学习生词：village.-?a?small?village.?引导学生学出句子：It?was?a?very?small?village?then.
