Step1 Warming up
Free talk
T: Good morning boys and girls. It’s sunny today. What day is it today?
Ss: It’s Monday.
T: And what day was it yesterday?(老师拿出单词卡片重点教读单词yesterday)
Ss: It was Sunday.
T: Yes, so yesterday was a holiday. Then what did you do yesterday?(学生沉默)
Ok. Maybe the chant will give us the answer. Now let’s learn Part1.
设计意图:老师随意询问学生今天的日期,从而引出yesterday这一单词。引导学生用英语交流,复习旧知,巩固新知。由yesterday was a holiday过渡到即将要学习的chant部分。
2 Chant- learning
老师播放第一遍chant,学生认真听一遍。
T: What did they do yesterday? (老师做出划船的动作提示学生回答)
Ss: They rowed a boat.
老师播放第二遍视频,学生边听边跟读。
老师播放第三遍视频,学生直接随着视频一起朗读。
设计意图:学生学习完chant,活跃了英语课堂上的气氛,大致了解了动词的一般过去式。重点掌握了单词yesterday.
Step2 Presentation
New words and sentences:
T: Did you have a very happy day?
Ss: Yes, I did.
T: I also had a very happy day. I’ll show you it. (老师开始播放PPT,带领学生学习以下六个句子,即I phoned my friend yesterday. I watched TV yesterday. I cooked noodles yesterday. I helped Mum yesterday. I washed clothes yesterday. I played on the computer yesterday.其中老师重点练习动词的现在时态与过去时态的变化 phone ——phoned; watch——watched; cook—— cooked;help——helped; wash——washed; play——played )
