二、新课呈现(Presentation)
活动一:吟诵歌谣
教师作出跌倒的动作,引导学生说出“摔倒,跌倒”,然后教师将单词fall板书到黑板上,进行教读,并呈现出fall的过去式fell,以及跟fell有关的两个短语:
down摔倒,跌倒,fell off跌落
师作出发现了什么的动作,引导学生说出“找到;发现”,然后教师将单词find板书到黑板上进行教读,并呈现出find的过去式found,进行例句示范:
We found a cat in the room.
I can`t find my book.
I can find many new things in this place.
播放Lirtenand chant部分的录音,学生进行跟读,模仿语音语调,注意单词发音的技巧,如重读,语气语调等。
教师请学生说一说歌曲的意思,教师进行补充讲解。
将学生分成两组,分别诵读Listen and chant部分的歌谣,比一比哪一组表现得更好。
活动二:对话学习
教师播放课本第二部分的录音,学生进行跟读,模仿录音的发音和语气,教师对学生的发音进行规范。
教师将课文中其余的新单词:felloff, town, happen, ride, then, thirsty, water, bought, watermelon, carried, bump, hospital书写到黑板上一一进行教读并进行例句展示:
fall off: He fell off the horse yesterday.
town:I live in a small town.
happen: What happened to you?
ride:I ride my bike every day.
thirsty:I am very thirsty and hungry now.
water:Water is very important in our life.
bought:I bought a toy on Monday..
watermelon : Lots of people like eating watermelons in summer.
carried:The boy carried his schoolbag on his bike.
bump : Be carefiil not to bump yourself.
hospital:She is ill, so we send her to the hospital.
教师请学生找出课文中的动词过去式:happened,went, were, did, bought, carried, fell, bumped, took,带领学生再次复习学过的动词过去式的规则和不规则变化。然后补充讲解ride的过去式rode。
-提醒学生在动词过去式的规则变化中,如果动词以辅音字母和y结尾,则该动词要变y为 i,然后加上ed,如本课所学的carry—carried.
教师请学生来翻译课文内容,教师进行补充讲解。
教师抽取学生复述谬文的内容,考查学生对课文的掌握情况。
