Step 1 Warm up
1 Sing the song of 《London Bridge is Falling Down》together.
T: Hi, boys and girls. Let’s sing a song, ok?
Ss: Ok.
T: Ok. London Bridge is falling down… (Ss sing the song.)
T: You are clever boys and girls.
2 Free tall
T: Now let’s have a free talk “What I did yesterday?”, ok?
Ss introduce what they did yesterday.
Step 2 Presentation and leading
1 Listen to the tape carefully.
T: Now, this class we are going to learn Module 10 Unit 2 Sam had lots of chocolate. First, listen to the tape and underline the new words.
2 Read the new words together, one by one, group by group.
3 T show some words’ cards about the new words to Ss to say.
4 Listen to the tape about Activity 2 and answer the question“What’s wrong with Sam, Daming, Amy and Lingling today?”
5 Now check your answers.
Step 3 Consolidate
1 Do some exercises.
2 Story time
