二、教学重点

(一)能口头运用Where/ When / How did you go? 这类语句询问过去发生事情的具体信息。

(二)能听说认读单词for, hour, mountain, with,plant, arrive。

三、教学难点:能用简单的语句描述过去发生的事情。

四、教学准备

黑板,PPT, 平板电脑,卡片等。

五、教学过程

Step1. 课前展示,热身激趣

1、Greeting.

2、Sing a song 《Where did you go?》.

3、单词比赛,用平板做单词游戏,吃火锅游戏。复习上节课的单词。

4.Show beautiful pictures of different places.( the British Museum, Big Ben, the London Eye, the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the West Lake) 通过展示图片,让学生对多姿多彩的世界和人文特色充满浓厚兴趣,同时引导孩子们对我们世界的认知,拓展兴趣。

5.The teacher tell the story of her travel to Ningxia.

Last summer holiday Ms Feng went to Ningxia. There are many beautiful places and lots of delicious food there. Now let me show you the pictures of them...

(向孩子展示教师的宁夏之旅,宁夏的旅游风景, 宁夏五宝,古老的清真寺,美丽的沙湖,神奇的贺兰山岩画,独具特色的西部影视城,神秘的西夏王陵等等,让孩子们对老师的旅行充满兴趣)

Step 2 教师示范,呈现新知

Look at this picture, who are they? (Daming and his father) And what did they do?通过图片和问题带领学生自然过渡到课文的学习。

Listen to the dialogue. ①Read after the sound recording. ②Try to find out the past tense of the verb in the text. (went,arrived, walked,were,took)

(运用平板的抢答功能,请学生找出文章中动词的过去式。)

Let’s play a game together. (孙悟空三打白骨精的方式,运用平板的随机抽查和抢答功能,说出课文所有动词过去式的原型)(go- went, arrive – arrived ,walk- walked, are–were, take- took)

(要求学生画出文中动词过去式并将原形写在旁边,教师根据学生找的情况适当板书过去式。)

Step3 课堂活动,操练新知

通过问题,讲课文内容进行学习。

What did Daming do at the weekend? Daming and his father went to the Great Wall at the weekend.

Where did Daming go? He went to Badaling.

How did they go? They went to Badaling by bus.

When did they arrive there? They arrived there at ten o’clock in the morning.

(通过以上四个问题,引导学生根据图片提示内容进行回答并深入课文学习。)

重点学习两个句子:

①They walked on the wall for one hour.There were lots of people. (one hour, two hours, lots of people=many people)
