Step2 Lead-in
T: First, let’s look at a picture about the story. What can you see in the sky? ( Ss:I can see a girl.) Yes, it’s a beautiful girl. Right?
Please look at it carefully. How did the girl fly into the sky?
(引导学生学习wind/blew /The big wind blew her into the sky .)
Please guess: Where was the girl from?
( Ss: The girl was from this village .)
What can you see in the village?
(Ss: I can see a tall pagoda in the village. 学习单词pagoda)
T: So, the beginning of the story is: A beautiful girl lived in a village near Luoyang. There was a very tall pagoda in the village. One day, it was very hot. The girl sat under a big tree. Suddenly a big wind came and blew her into the sky.
Then ,where was the girl? Can you guess ?
She was in the park, in the garden , in the palace , in the forest and in the pagoda. Which one do you agree ?(She was in the pagoda .)So , the story’s name is《The girl in the Pagoda》.
