(设计意图:在数数唱歌的过程中复习数字,调动学生的学习兴趣。)

3 Show the clock and say

1.Show the time6:00, 3:30等 on the screen, then ask and answer.

T: What time is it?

Ss: It`s six o`clock./half past three.

(设计意图:复习整点和半点的表达法,尝试用“I`ll…at…”表达将要做的事情。)

T: He will be late. School stars at eight o`clock.Now It`s a quarter to eight.（板书，教授quarter）

(设计意图:“quarter”表示15分,让学生明白,15分钟习惯上用“a quarter”表达。用在句子中的时候,点钟一般在句末,并用介词“at”连接。)

(设计意图:通过练习让学生重新认识“to”,在表达时间的时候它的意思是“差”,“a quarter to…”表示几点差一刻。学习时间的表达法,为课文的学习做准备。.)
