二、学情分析
五年级的学生已有两年半的英语学习经历,英语知识也有了一定的累积,比较能控制自己的学习注意力,也在本学期里初步认识了一些基本音标,学会简单地拼读单词;他们仍旧喜玩好动,喜欢表扬,需要鼓励。本节课主要在巩固运用“will”表达将来的基础上,学习用“will”表达请求和意愿,使学生既学到了英语知识,又受到了思品教育,学会做一个有爱心,乐于助人的人。
三、重点难点
1、教学重点:
1)单词paper, so, Chinese, word
2)复习巩固 “will” 的用法, 能够运用句型I’ll make a kite. / Will you help me? Of course I will.来表达自己的请求和意愿,展开话题。
3)理解课文大意
2、教学难点:
1)在实际情境中运用“will”表达请求和意愿;
2)句子:You can write the Chinese word for “dragon” on it.的理解与正确朗读。

1. Greetings

T: I’ll take my cat. Tomorrow is my cat’s birthday. I’ve got a present for cat and also a present for you. What are they? Let’s have a look.(打不开盒子,示意学生帮忙)Will you help me? Today we are going to learn Module 8 Unit 1 Will you help me?
板书句型Will you help me? Of course I will.并以问答的形式说明其作用。
打开礼物盒,学习paper;分组并说明竞赛得礼物的规则。引出句子It will be a great present.
