Teaching procedures

Step1 Introduction 1 Get students ready for learning(What day is it today?过度It’s May 7th 学习月份单词)

2 Show a calendar to students and teach the new words one by one (根据课本1c的顺序);then listen to 1c, students read the words after the tape.Then check the learning result. Let one student read the first month—January, and the next student read February, and then go on.

3 Practice the sentences in 1c and survey the birthday and birthplace of group members.

Step2 Presentation

1 Do 2a. Talk about the rule of reading different years. Read the first six years and write the rest in English.

2 Do 2b. Listen to the tape and write down the year or month in each conversation. Check the answers by yourselves.
