1.师生之间相互问候。?

2.Look and talk about Daming’s parents?:?Daming’s father is a policeman. He goes to work at eight o’clock every morning. Daming’s mother is a nurse. She goes to work at eleven o’clock every night.

Step2?Presentation?

1.教师给学生介绍:Daming is a puple. He goes to school at half past seven every morning.?But today he will be late for school. Why? Listen!(播放音频)询问学生:What time does Daming get up?引出新单词quarter , to.教读并让学生理解a quarter = 15 分钟(一刻钟),to(距离整点)差…利用钟面让学生更进一步巩固quarter。

2.教师引导学生:Daming will be late for school because he gets up late. And then, what time does Daming get to school? Let’s listen!(播放音频找出答案回答问题):It’s half past eight now. Daming is late and he’s tired.

3.Watch and imitate.

1.教师给学生介绍:This is Sam and Amy’s father, Mr. Smart. He is an officer. He is very busy every day and he is home at seven o’clock every day. But will he be home at seven o’clock today? (as usual跟往常一样) Let’s have a look! Now, it’s six o’clock. Will he be home at seven o’clock? (播放音频请学生回答问题)引导学生回答:Yes, he will.

2.教师继续引导学生观察图片:Now, it’s half past six. But Mr. Smart isn’t home.并提问:Is he going to be late? Now, listen!(播放音频两遍)引导学生回答:No.(Because he says, “Don’t worry. I’ll be home at seven o’clock.”)引出新单词worry并教读单词。引导学生说出答句:He’ll be home at seven o’clock.

3.教师再次引导学生看图:It’s a quarter to seven now!提问学生:What time will?you?be?home??Let’s listen!(播放音频让学生回答问题)He’ll be home at seven o’clock.

4.教师出示七点钟面给学生:Oh, look! Mr. Smart is home at seven o’clock! Here he is. The family is going to have a birthday party for him. Today is his birthday. They are very happy! Now, listen!(播放音频让学生感受气氛)

5.教师带领学生观看课文视频:Now, watch, listen and try to imitate.

6.教师让学生打开课本齐读课文,由教师带领学生进行角色朗读,布置小组活动任务,学生上台展示:Now, I’m Ms. Smart. Who wants to be Sam, Amy and Mr. Smart? Let read the text in roles.

Step4?Practice?

1.Look and match.根据课文进行问答连线。

2.Look and write.根据活动3的图片,让学生仿造例子看图写话。

Step5?Summary?and?homework

1.Summary:今天我们学习了距离整点还差一刻钟的句型:It’s a quarter to….以及表示将来的句子:Will?you?be?home?at?seven?o’clock??Are you going to be late? What time will you be home? I?will?be?home?at?seven?o’clock. 并且也让同学们了解到了守时的重要性。
