学情分析:五年级学生已有一定的知识基础,如数学的掌握,整点和半点的表达已很熟练,还有对于will 表示将来的知点也已熟悉,在此基础上学表用past 和to 进行时间的表达也就顺水推舟。

教学过程:

Step1 Greetings

Hello,boys , hello girls.I’m Ms Chen.how are you? Is it sunny today?Will it be sunny tomorrow? Today is a nice day. I hope we will have a nice lesson. What will we do next?We will ……

(设计意图:通过问候提问让孩子感受猜测接下来要做的事,感知一般将来时)

Step 2Chant

Dad goes to work at 7 o’clock, 7 o’clock.Dad goes to work at 7 o’clock He’s a busy man.

Mum goes to work at half past six, half past six.Mum goes to work at half past six.She’s a busy woman.

I go to school at 8o’clock, 8o’clock,I go to school at 8o’clockand we’ll all be home at six.

T: Good job, I’d love to hear your nice voice.

What time does dad go to work?What time does mum go to work? What time does he go to school?

(设计意图:旨在孩子们的chant 中感受到时间的表达并听懂时间的问答,提取时间信息)

Step3 Use a story to teach times

1、Children,Time for story ! listen carefully.

There is a boy, his name is Daming.

He always gets up at half past seven. He goes to school at 8 o ‘clock. But now he is still in sleeping. What time is it? It’s a quarter to eight. A quarter that means 15mins..

解释 a quarter.5minutes.10 minutes,15minutes, a quarter to eight not get to eight. 模仿说: Look at him .he must be hurry ! he puts on his clothes and gets up quickly. 动作What does Daming say?“it’s a quarter to eight .oH my god.”(动作)

I have a good idea. Let’s make an alarm clock for him.What time do you want to make for him.Daming can get up at ……。

(设计意图:能过故事的讲述让孩子学会时间a quarter to 的表达,通过孩子演绎快要迟到的Daming来感知珍惜时间)

(设计意图;让学生学会a quarter to 的表达在于分钟在前,时钟在后,为课文的学习作铺垫。)

Step 4 Reading and acting

1、Look, Today is Mr Smart’s birthday. All of them are waiting for him. Will he be late? Listen, Will he be late? No, he won’t.
