四.教学过程:
I. Warming up and leading in
Greetings: Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today? Last lesson, we learnt what Lingling had for three meals in a day. Can you recite the functional sentences? Let’s recite them together. Today we are going to learn Module 3 Unit 2. I will divide you into two groups- boys’ group and girls’ group. You will have a competition. Who is the winner, who will get a book about English food. Are you ready?
Look at the picture. What’s this? It’s a cat. He ate lots of food. What did the cat eat? Do you want to know?
2. Listen to Activity 1 and find the answer. “What did the cat eat?”
3. Listen again and repeat. Pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation.
II. Task Presentation
1. 能够理解三会单词very much (很,非常),tonight (今晚);能正确运用四会单词gave( give的过去式,给)及短语“give sth to sb”

III. Text learning
Show the picture of a letter.
Daming has got a letter from England. What’s it about? Do you want to know? Now let’s listen to Activity 2 and answer the following questions.

Who ate four hamburgers at school today?
Who had a sandwich?
Listen again and repeat. Pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation. While
listening, teach the new words. Then answer the following questions one bye one. You can talk in groups.
Why did Sam eat four hamburgers ?
Why did Lingling have a sandwich ?
Does Amy miss Chinese food?
What is Ms Smart going to cook tonight?
Read the text together. Pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation.
Try to retell the text. First retell it together and then do it by themselves. Then show it to the class.
