设计思路：通过唱歌复习了以前所学的知识，现在进行时。通过问答让学生快速进入学习状态，为进入今天的新课做好铺垫。
Step2 Presentation
1.老师用PPT出示舞龙舞狮的视频，询问学生:
T: What are they doing？
Ss:They are dancing.
出示舞龙舞狮的图片引出dancing , Chinese dancing。板书并教授新单词dancing。
2.出示唐人街的图片让学生猜测图片上是什么地方？当学生说出唐人街后，出示单词Chinatown,板书并教授新单词Chinatown。并向学生介绍唐人街的由来
3.抛出问题：同学们，你们想知道唐人街上都有些什么吗？然后展示Chinese shop和Chinese restaurants 的图片。向学生介绍他们的用途，引出新单词shop，并教授。
Step3课文教学
1.出示教学目标并教授新单词sometimes。
2.请学生观看activity 1 look listen and say 的课文动画
Let the students Look at the video and find out “There’s/There are”. Then practise in pairs and act out.
教师板书There’s a Chinatown in New York.引导学生理解there’s 的意思并找学生分角色表演这一段对话。
3.请学生观看activity2的动画并找出“There’s/There are”
教师板书There’re lots of Chinese shops and restaurants there. 引导学生理解tnere’re 的意思。出示
3.用PPT出示There’s/There are的用法和区别，出示 长城的图片让学生用所学句型描述。并让学生做相应的练习：

There___some books under the table.
There___lots of shoes on the floor.
There___a TV and some balls in the room.
There___some meat ,many apples and bananas on the table.
4.Give the students 5 minutes to read the dialogue of activity2 ,find out the new words and the new sentence parttern and try to translate them.
