①全体学生能听懂：You’ve got a letter from New York, but it’s not from Daming. Daming has got a Chinese draon kite and we often fly it in the park. Have you got a book about the US? I’ve got a stamp from China.

Step1: Warming-up
T:Hello everyone, Today we are going to learn Module6 unit1 you’ve got a letter from New York.
1.free talk（意图：利用简单的口头交际提问学生是否拥有某物，代领学生对have got的使用）
T：Can you tell me have you got…?
S:yes, I have….
T:Please clap your hands and let’s chant.
2.chant.(Have you got…)（意图：复习之前所学Have got的一般疑问句提问和简单回答）
Step2: Leading-in
（意图：通过图片展示Sam拥有的各种类别的书，让学生使用has got和about进行描述，引出主人公Sam以及操练学生使用第三人称has got的使用，提前出示about的使用，为课本中的Activity 1做准备。）
T: This is our friend Sam and he has got some books, can you tell me what books has he got?

T:We know Sam has got lots of books and he wants to find John, let’s see what happened about Sam and John.
