Step 1.Warm up and Lead-in
Greeting
Divide the children into two groups:Rain Team and Snow Team. Review M2 U1, ask students to answer the weather and let them know weather is very important.
Review the words of the weather: cold hot warm cloudy rain sunny windy snow
Talk about today’s weather and ask tomorrow’s weather.
【设计意图:通过复习前一课野餐的天气情况,让学生明白由于大明和朋友们没有根据天气制定出行计划所以野餐很不开心,让学生意识到天气是非常重要的。然后由今天的天气自然导出未来的天气。】
Step2. Task presentation
Write the title on the blackboard:
Module 2Unit 2 It will snow in Harbin.
Task presentation
We’ll be able to report the weather in the future and make our activity plans according to the weather.
Listen to Activity1.Say a chant about the weather in the future.
【设计意图:交代本节课的学习任务,让学生有一个明确的学习目标: 我们能预报未来的天气情况并根据天气情况来制定自己的活动计划。听chant初步感知课文内容,谈论不同城市的未来的天气情况。】
Step3. Text??learning
Describe the map of China and say the name of the cities in the map.
Watch the text for the first time. Ask children to choose the cities according to the weather
Ask children to answer the cities according to the weather(Snow Team will get a flake of snow and Rain Team will get a drop of rain, if they are right.)
Ask children to answer the weather of the cities and teacher writes on the blackboard.(Can you remember the text?)
Teach them how to express the weather in the future.( What can you find? )
Listen to the text for the second time. Ask children to fill in the blanks in the paper and ask a child to write on the white board. Then check the answer.
Listen to the text for the third time. Ask children to read after it and practice reading.
【设计意图:课文教学分为三大部分:第一部分,观看flash课件,利用PPT,让学生根据天气来选择城市,并给予奖励;第二部分,问不同城市的天气,让学生逐句回答,并把课文内容逐句写在黑板上。通过让学生自己观察来讲解如何用It will 来表达未来的天气,以及动词和形容词的使用区别并做练习进行巩固。第三部分,跟读课文并操练。通过由易到难的环节设计,让学生逐步了解并掌握课文,学习本课的重难点。】
