Step 1 Warming up
sing a song 《Are you sleeping?》
(活动目的:英语歌曲的导入,使学生很快的进入学英语的氛围中。而且这首歌的歌词不仅呈现了本课要学习的现在进行时,而且还出现了本课要复习的bell,ring等词汇。为本课的学习做了铺垫的作用。)
Show some pictures to review be+v-ing .
T:Look,What are they? They are balloons.You are Green Balloon , You are Red Balloon,and you are Yellow Balloon.If you do a good job,the balloon will fly higher. OK?If you want to fly higher,you must work harder.
(活动目的:通过分组让学生明确自己的任务,并产生竞争意识,调动学生的学生积极性,让学生不自觉的融入到整个英语课堂。)

Compare the two sentences and explain “and” and “but”
Then look at the pictures and practise .
(利用ppt播放的顺序,帮助学生理解and表示并列的动作,其动词形式一致。But描述正在发生某一动作时的偶然事件)
