教师先与学生打招呼，然后以Guess a riddle为切点，活跃课堂气氛。
开始Let’s chant and say，在轻松愉快的氛围下，让学生回顾并练习现在进行时态的词组句型
Step2：(1)师简笔画展示：suona, 导入引出单词play,短语play the suona.He is playing the suona.(ppt让学生观察play的用法)
(2)根据1的模式出示简笔画phone,bell,dog.引出单词ring,bark loudly,2.挑选个别学生展示新单词的发音，及时纠正发音，表扬和鼓励学生，培养学生大胆说的习惯。
step3：(1)播放CD,学生边看边听后试回答老师的问题a.Who’s having a birthday party?b.What’s Daming doing ?c.How many times Daming to play the suona?
通过学生回答出示新单词 third time. (师完善板书)
(2)学生再次听录音并自读课文，找出疑难点，在组内解决或举手提问。(ppt出示重点单词短语请学生朗读)
Step4：
（1）Pair work：学生根据课文回答问题
a.Daming is playing the suona,but what happens?
b.Daming is playing the suona again,but what happens?
c.Daming is playing the suona for the third time,but what happens?
学生根据回答问题的三个句子在组里找出这三个句子的共同点。
1.He is playing the suona,but the phone rings.

3.Daming is playing the suona for the third time, but the dog starts to bark very loudly.
（2）小组展示 ppt出示课文的三幅图片，请学生试根据板书复述课文内容。
