A Tongue Twister
T:Boys and girls, look at the screen. Can you read the tongue twister? Have a try!
T: Let’s say it together. A good cook could good cookies! Say it quickly.
T: Oh, you can say it well now. As a baby, could you say the tongue twister?(可以用汉语再小声的问下:小时候,你们会说这样的绕口令吗)
T: Oh, you couldn’t.
Look, could, couldn’t (写在黑板上), You couldn’t say the tongue twister when you were small. Right? 强调下ou的发音,带学生读两遍,然后引出本课的学习目标。
T:Ok, today, we are going to talk about the abilities in the past.
