Show pictures of subjects: Chinese、Maths、English、Music、Art、PE、Science.Ask Ss to read them out and give them some rewards.Then teach them twice and Ss read them twice together.

Leading-in （1 minute）
Show pictures of a school schedule of primary school and ask Ss “What do you study in primary school?”.then Ss answer“I study Chinese、Maths、English...”
Show a picture of middle school
T: This september, Where are you going to ?
Ss: I’m going to middle school.
T: In middle school, you are going to learn many new subjects. Do you want to know “ What are you going to study?
Ss: Yes.
Learn new words（8 minutes）
Show a school schedule of middle school and learn new words of subjects.
Show word cards of History、Physics、Geography、Chemistry.
Teacher teaches the new words and makes questions “What are you going to study?” and lead Ss to answer with new words.
教读单词三遍。开火车读单词。用新单词来进行造句。（设计意图：通过小组开火车练习，扩大操练面，培养学生敢于开口说英语的勇气)
