(8 mins)-Today, I’m going to tell you a story about a monster. Look! It’s a scary monster. What colour is it? Is it big or small? It’s a big green monster.

1st reading:

Tell the story with the help of the pictures.

-Let’s listen to the story – Go away, big green monster.

-What colour are(is) the monster’s eyes(ears/ nose/ mouth/ face)?

2nd reading:

Tell the story with the students by using the cardboard-made parts of the monster.

-Can you tell the story with me?

3rd reading:

-Can you read the story?

Listen to the story.

Answer the questions.

Try to tell the story with the teacher.

Try to read out the story.利用有趣的故事,为学生提供丰富的、有趣的、可理解的输入,创设情景,让学生在情境中接触、感知、理解新词义的读音和意义,激发学生学习动机,同时发展学生听力理解能力。
