Step I. Warming up

1.Greeting and introduce Mr Moon and his theater.

2.Sing the song “From head to toe”together:

3. Review the body parts: head, shoulders, knees, toes, hand, foot mouth, teeth, ear, eye, nose, face...and finish the “colour the frame”exercise .

Step II. Presentation

Learn the verb.

Teach the words shake ,touch ,open and show by the picture of the pigs.

2.Learn the phrases

With the pictures of movement by Ss,teach the phrases Shake your hair/legs/arms.Touch your ears/feet/nose/face/toes.

Open your mouth and show your teeth.

Shake your hair/legs/arms.

A.Listen to the song and memorize the body parts that related to the verb shake.

B.Ss look at the pictures and guess the body parts which are cover by the shapes.

C.Teach the Ss to reading the phrases and read them by groups.

C.Ss say and do the actions one by one.

Touch your ears/feet/nose/face/toes.

Listen to the song and memorize the body parts that related to the verb touch.

Say the phrases by the teaching of the Ss themselves.

Ss express the body parts they can touch and do the action.

Open your mouth and show your teeth

Ask:which parts do you want to open and show?

Look on the pictures ,1st say the phrases then do the actions.

Boys say the phrases and the girls do the action,then change the role.

3.play the game simon says.

(1)I will explain the rule of this game to Ss.When I say the phrase with saying “simon says”,the Ss do the action,or else other saying which are not “simon says”the Ss all keep quiet.

(2) The Ss who hold the body parts cards to give the order.They say the phrase with the card’s body parts.

4.Teach the song

A.Ss sing the first paragraph with Mr moon.
