Step 1:Draw a square on the blackbord,then ask the children :一个正方形有几条边?(中文)The answer is Four.But how to say this sentence in English?
Step 2:Write the sentence:How many lines does a square have?
Pay attention to :1.没有使用How many …are there?这个句型,是因为问题提问的是正方形本身有多少条边?So we use this sentence pattern:How many …does…have?
2.主语是第三人称单数,所以助动词用does.
