Step 1:Draw a square on the blackbord,then ask the children :一个正方形有几条边？（中文）The answer is Four.But how to say this sentence in English?
Step 2:Write the sentence:How many lines does a square have?
Pay attention to :1.没有使用How many …are there？这个句型，是因为问题提问的是正方形本身有多少条边？So we use this sentence pattern:How many …does…have?
2.主语是第三人称单数，所以助动词用does.
Step 3:Draw a rectangle ,a triangle ,make the chirdren make sentence:一个长方形有多少条边？一个正方形有多少条边？
Ask some of them to answer.
Step 4:Open the books and point the last shape ,then ask the chirdren :How many triangles are there in the square?

Step 6:PAIRWORK:Ask the questions about Part 5 and answer them.
