通过游戏帮助学生提前突破绘本中的关键词组“step in” “ a large pile of ”以及熟悉绘本中小猫会碰到的东西。同时有节奏感的游戏能够快速让学生进入学习状态,调动学生的学习积极性。
T:You know, I love shopping. Do you like shopping?
Ss: Yes.
T:let’s go shopping together.
引入评价:每个小组的桌上都有一个盒子,类似购物篮,学生的桌上还有一袋贴纸,得到表扬时,学生就拿一个贴纸,得到一个物品(不同颜色的鞋子和绘本中出现的东西),最后哪个组的购物篮里的东西最多为胜利。
T:We have 8 groups , if you do a good job in the class, you can get some pictures. At the end of the class, let’s see which group gets the most things.(引入评价)
T:OK, let’s go shpping. (动画出现老师的图像人偶,在繁华的街道逛街,情景导入,绘本故事的开头小猫就是走在街头。)
T: Step in, step in, let’s go shopping.(配上节奏)
T: Oh, there’s a shop,let’s step in. (ppt静止,出现一个商店的图片,step in配上脚的动作)
T:Oh, what are they?(进入后房间里有一堆草莓)
Ss: Strawberries.
T: Only one strawberry?
Ss: No, many strawberries.
T: Yes, it’s a large pile of strawberries.
T: let’s say: a large pile of strawberries, a large pile of strawberries, let's go shopping. Your turn.
接下来blueberry shop,步骤同上。
这里评价学生在上个环节的表现,引导学生理解本节课的评价。

II Cover reading
介绍绘本封面,名字,作者,以及故事的主人翁。
T: Today we are going to read a story. A serial story by Eric Litwin,art by James Dean. The story is about “go shopping”
Who’s going shopping?
Ss:Cat. (拿出猫的图片并贴在黑板上)
T:His name is Pete the cat. (拿出词条并贴在黑板上)
T: Pete went shopping, and he bought brand-new white shoes. He loved his white shoes so much, and he sang his song. What song is it? Let’s listen. (放音乐)这段话是介绍整个故事的背景,同时歌曲朗朗上口,引起学生的学生兴趣。
