Class rules(CAI) (视频:播放介绍课堂“星”规则的微课)

T:Let’s get stars. How to get stars? Let’s take a look.

(CAI)Look,listen and guess:What party?(课件:出示图片,让学生猜party的类型,激发兴趣,导入课题)

Ask students to guess the party.

(Birthday party, New Year party)

Understand the meaning of the title.(课件:用卡通图片帮助学生理解花园派对的含义)

Understand the word‘garden party’.(CAI)

T:A garden, some people, what party?

Read the title of the story:Tony’s garden party.

T:Today we’ll listen to a story about Tony’s garden party.

Step2:While-reading

Reading of part4a.

(1)Watch and answer:Who comes to the party?(课件:播放完整故事,学生回答问题。)

(2)Listen and order: What do they do in the story? (eat a cake, play football,break Mr Bryson’s window, say sorry)

(平板电脑:分组,学生在平板电脑上依据刚才看到的故事,将短语排序,理解故事内容。利用教学助手了解学生对文章的大意的了解情况。)
