1. The teachers gree ts with pupils:

Hello, boys and girls! Nice to meet you. What day is it today? How are you feeling today?

2. T ask: What’s the girl doing?

Then answer: She is sleeping. She has a good dream.(body language help)

Today we’ll learn Uni t 6 Dreams. Teach the pronunciation of “dream” and spell it.

Step2 Presentation.

1. T: (shows a card) I dream about a rabbit. Stress: about→ dream about →I dream about a rabbit. (write down) Then change two cards (chicken, candies…)

2. T: How about you? Students talk about it. T shows some pictures to the Ss.

3. T shows ghosts and says: I dream about ghosts. I am so scared. Stress: ghosts.(write down)Students try to talk about it.

4. T shows a picture and say: I dream I can fly. Then give out the other pictures, the Ss try to talk about them. Pay attention to the new words: little, travel, around, world. Let the Ss read after the teacher.

T asks: In your dream what do you have?

Then Tshows some cards: swim, play football, fly, talk to animals…

Choose one studen t try to speak out the sentences: I dream that I can swim.

6. T: When I’m a littl e girl, I dream about being a teacher, now I’m a teacher. Stress: about being. (write down)Practice the pronunciation and try to talk about their future dreams.

7. T shows three forms of weeks and little circle cards: often, sometimes, never.

Teachthe pr onunciation of them and then ask the Ss to fill in the correct words with often, sometimes, never.

8. Make up the sentences. Ask the Ss to say the correct answers.

Step3 Listen and number.

Books open. Part 1.

1. Listen to the tape and fill in the boxes.

2. Free talk about dreams in their groups. Using three sentence patterns.

3. Write down the sentences they want to say about “My dreams”

Step4 Development language

Ask Ss to make up their own dialogues.

Then ask them to come to the front and act their dialogues.

Step 5 Homework.

1. Write your dream.

2. Describe your dream to your classmates.
