1. Warming up: Free talk (Play the drum while review programs)
Teacher greets the students along with the rhyme.
Ss answer with the rhyme.
T:What program do you like?
S1:... S2:... S3:...
T: Guess!What program do I like?
Teacher plays the mp3 Rolling in the deep.
Ss:Music program!
Lead in:
T:Right, here’s a piece of music I like. Watch and find out who is the singer?
Teacher plays the video Waving Flag.
Ss guess who is the singer.
Ss: It’s K’naan!
T: Right! He is also my idol! Read!
Ss: My idol.
T: Cool, Who is your idol?
Vote for your idol:
T: Very good, look I made a survey among you. Here are top ten popular idols. Now use your i-pads to vote for them.
Ss vote on pads for their idols.
Teacher hands out the group names.
T: So the top six goes to these idols.
