Step1:warm up

Watch a funny cartoon《谁是真勇敢?》. Guess: What is Haohao afraid of?【兴趣是最好的老师。在课堂伊始,教师尝试通过有趣的动画片吸引学生的注意,轻松导入教学内容。】学习感受新单词afraid, afraid of
Step2:Presentation:
Are you afraid of the mouse?
Are you afraid these animals? (出示一些可爱的小动物)No.You are not afraid of them.Why? Because they are very little and lovely.
课件出示学生可能害怕的动物图片。学生认读图片。学生照样子说句子:I’m afraid of…【仿说句子的过程是学生初次感受句子结构的过程,反复说听练习能让学生感受句子,熟悉句子。】
b.What other things are you afraid? Are you afraid of the cold?
【用自由交流的方式引出害怕的事物,学生能摆脱上一步仿说的模式,尝试自己表达想法:I’m afraid of …I’m not afraid of….】
