2.体验目标:

—能够理解和体验一家人在捕熊路途中遇到的艰辛,学习他们面对困难的勇气。

3.语言要点:

—理解描述性的形容词,如swirling whirling等。

—学习拟声词swishy,swashy等。

教学重点:让学生喜欢读这个绘本故事并在情境中理解故事内容。

教学难点:理解描述性的形容词,如swirling,whirling,oozy等;学习拟声词“swishy swashy, splash splosh, squelch squerch, stumble trip, hoooo woooo, tiptoe.”并模仿动作。

教学过程:

warming up. 调动已知,热身激趣。

Free talk to get familiar with each other.

II. Presentation. 走进绘本,理解文本,体会情感。

Today I will show you a picture book and this is the cover. How many people are there? Who are they? Where are they going on? (引导学生读封面,并对其内容进行预测。)

介绍书名、作者、插画师。Where can they find the bear?Can they hunt the bear at last?(激活思维,将自己代入故事,与故事人物产生共鸣。)

走进故事第一个场景:Watch a vedio,Uh-uh, what can you see?(grass)How is the grass? The wind is blowing, the grass is wavy. (read: long wavy grass)

The long wavy grass, how to pass it? 学习:We can’t go over it. We can’t go under it. Oh, no! We’ve got to go through it.

What’s the sound like? Let’s listen: swishy swashy. Let’s say and mime together.

学习故事第二、三场景,方法同上。重点输入thick oozy mud. Do you like the thick oozy mud? Have you ever been to the thick oozy mud before? There is a path full of thick oozy mud. Are you dare to try? (体验式教学,引导学生身临其境感知其困难程度)

Practice自主学习,形成语言。

What will happen next? Read the book by yourself.

自主读演后三个场景,重点学习: Stumble trip. A swirling whirling snowstorm. A narrow gloomy cave. Tiptoe.

情感体察:Wow, when they see the bear,how are they feeling?

4.What will they do? Let’s watch.

5.回读绘本,将拟声词和场景进行匹配。

IV. Consolidation. 个性学习,分组表演。

Group work: Use a pad to choose your favourite part , listen and act with Micheal loudly.(个性化学习)

Show time.

V. Summary.体会意境,总结提升。

回到封面,引导学生体会bear hunt内涵。

翻开绘本,体会黑白图与彩图意境,引导学生理解绘本插画意境。

理解a beautiful day和go through深层含义,引导学生直面困难,勇于克服。
