情感态度目标:

了解中国的传统节日“中秋节”它表达了人们对家乡、对家人的爱与思念。让学生体会家乡、家人的重要性。产生对传统节日文化的认同感。同时大致了解感恩节的文化和它的节日意义。

教学重点:

能准确的表达中秋节和感恩节的时间、介绍这两个节日中人们活动以及传统美食。

教学难点:

1. 能简要介绍自己喜欢的节日。

2. 能介绍节日的阴历时间。如: the fifteenth day of Chinese Lunar August is a important festival in China.

教学过程:

Step A Warming up

Free talk:

T:What did you do on National day?

I went to Hanjie, I met some friends, they come from the USA and they visited Han street. Guess what we are talking about.

2.Show some pictures of festivals, then show the topic of festival.

[【设计意图】介绍本节课的交际背景,是在国庆节的时候去汉街遇到了一些来自美国的朋友,老师与他们进行了攀谈。创设真实的语言情境。

Step B Presentation

1. Show the pictures of several festivals. discuss when are the festivals in China. 学习几个节日的名称,复习时间的表达方法,为后面的学习做铺垫。

2. The teacher shows the calendar , what day is October the 4th this year. It is a very important festival in China. It is mid autumn festival. Read and answer three questions: when is this festival? what do people usually do? What do people usually eat?

【设计意图】在学生阅读课本之前,先就课本话题与学生进行了探讨。结合生活实际,激起学生对已有生活经验的回忆。激发他们对话题的兴趣从而激发他们对此话题的表达欲望。

3. The pupils read the passage and answer the questions. Then they try to understand: the fifteenth day of Chinese Lunar August is a important festival in China.

moon cakes, the moon is full and bright. family get together people far from home look up at the moon and think about their families.

4. Watch the video and feel the history and culture of this festival.

【设计意图】在讲解中秋节时,最重要的一点是理解节日文化,为什么人们要过这个节,而且它为什么对中国人来说,非常重要,因为,它表达了人们对亲人、对家乡的深厚感情。家人对我们来说非常重要。 这是中华民族传统的核心价值观念之一。我希望通过这节课,让学生感受到这种文化传统的意义与价值。这正是体现了 “核心素养”教学理念所提及的关注学生“文化品格”的培养。

5. The pupils should try to introduce the festival to foreigners.

6. Jason says: there is a festival in the USA, families get together ,listen what is it?

7. Ask Jason some questions about this festival.

8. Read the passage and answer the questions they asked.

9. Learn to understand: the fourth Thursday in November.people meet in the steet and enjoy their holidays together.

Step C Practice

The pupils read the passage.

The pupils act out how to ask information about this festival.
