Stept1. Warm-up(3mins):
1.与学生进行简单的问候,以复习第一单元和第二单元的问候语。
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, miss wan.
T: How are you?

T: I am OK, thanks.
2.播放歌曲In the Zoo的视频,以激发学生的学习兴趣,并导入新课;教师在黑板上写上本课标题;教师将学生分组,激发学生的学习热情。
T: Let’s enjoy a song together, ok?
Ss: OK.
T: It is a beautiful song, right? It is a song about animals, and today we are going to learn more small animals in your unit, Unit11 Small animals. (将标题写在黑板上) Please read after me, small animals.
Ss: Small animals.
T: Before our class, I will divide you into two groups, the group boys and the group girls, if you can answer my questions correctly and actively, you can get one apple, clear?

Stept2. presentation(18mins):
1.教师通过在黑板上分别画出猫、狗、老鼠、兔子的方式教授新单词:cat, dog, mouse, rabbit.以改变传统教授单词的枯燥无味。
T:Can you guess what am I drawing?
Ss: 猫。
T:Yeah, it is a cat. C-c-c, /k/-/k/-/k/; a-a-a, /?/- /?/- /?/; t-t-t,/t/-/t/-/t/, please read after me, cat.
Ss: cat.
教师领读全部单词。
2.教师通过游戏“狼来了”、“兔子跳跳”“雷声大雨点小”来操练单词,以达到寓教于乐的效果。
T: Let’s play some games. First one is The Wolf is Coming. (用PPT告知游戏规则)
⑴五名学生手拉手围成一个圈,转着圈走,全体学生一起读单词(教师给出单词,单词已经打乱顺序),当读到单词mouse时,学生需要迅速跑回自己的位置,被教师抓住的学生将受到惩罚。
T: It is a crazy game, right? Let’s play the second game The Rabbit Jumps.
⑵全体学生起立,阅读单词,当读到单词rabbit时,学生不读单词,要学着兔子跳一下,没有做动作或者发出声音的学生坐下,其他学生继续做,找到最终的胜利者们。
