Step1 Warm-up

2.Enjoy a song: How are you.
Step2 Presentation
1. Present the title : Unit1 Who’s This Boy? Teach the title and express the meaning of the title.

2.Present the new words with pictures(some famous people and the classmates of the pupils) teach the new words: boy /girl /man/woman.
3. divide the Ss into 4 groups: boy/girl/man/ woman group
T: Boy group, hands up. Girl group, hands up… To make the group members know which group they belong to.
5. Game time(比比谁快) To practice the new words.(give the groups scores)
6. Present the sentences with pictures: Who’s this boy? He is ... Who’s this girl? She is ... Who’s this man? He is ... Who’s this woman? She is ... Who’s that girl/boy? She’s/He’s…
The Ss answer the questions.
Present the dialog on page 1: Show me the picture, Wendi. Yes, mum. Here you are. Who’s this boy? He’s Stanley. Oh, he’s a nice boy.
Teach the sentences by radio. (give the groups scores)
The girls read first, and then the boys read.
Read in groups.
Read in lines.
Step3 Practice
1.Pair work. Give two pupils a picture(the classmates of the pupils) to practice the new dialog.
Ss say the dialog on the stage.(3~4 groups) Give the groups scores.
