Step1:Warm-up
TA课前播放电影《马达加斯加》精彩片段。
TA: One, two, three.
Ss:ABC.
TA:Let’s watch.
Are you ready for English class? Let’s welcome Miss Wang.
设计意图:小老师组织课堂,播放电影片段,各种动物出现在屏幕上,迅速吸引学生注意力,充分体现了学生学习的主体地位,同时也为本节课学习动物做铺垫。
Step2:Lead-in
(1)师生问候,欣赏歌曲 What Animals Do You See On the Farm 。复习动物单词。
T:Good morning,class. Nice to meet you .
Ss:Good morning, Miss Wang. Nice to meet you,too.
T: Let’s sing a song.
T:(歌曲完后)Wow, there are so many animals. Do you love animals?
Ss:Yes.
T: Good.Today, we will share a picture book about animals.
设计意图:利用和动物及动物叫声有关的歌曲导入,激发了学生学习英语的兴趣,学生边唱边跳,既复习动物单词又模仿动物的叫声,为之后的创编绘本做准备。
(2)呈现封面,出示课题。
T:Look,what can you see on the cover?
S1:A cow. S2:A girl.S3:Party.
T:Yes.There is a party invitation in the girl’s hand.呈现party 图。Guess,what party will the girl take part in?
S1:The birthday party.
S2: The animal party.
T:Yes.She will go to the animal party.引出课题The Animal Party,齐读课题。
T:Look, today I’m the little girl. Today is my birthday,and I will hold the animal party. Do you want to go to my party?
Ss: Yes.
T: Good. In this class, you are divided into 4 groups. If you do a good job, you can go to my party. Ready? Go.
设计意图:出示封面,让学生通过看图找到关键信息,教给学生绘本阅读的方法即借助图片阅读。让学生猜测女孩会参加怎样的聚会是激发学生的想象力,让学生带着问题进入学习,有任务可做。
