Step 1 Leading and reviewing (时间:5分钟)

复习并引入。

1. (这一课谈论的是康康的生日,教师可以问学生有没有今天或最近几天要过生日的。如果有,大家一起唱生日快乐歌祝福他/她生日快乐。)

T: Is anybody’s birthday today? Please hands up.

(有一个学生举手。)

S1:It’s my birthday today.

T:Good! Let’s sing Happy Birthday for him/her.

Ss: Happy birthday to you…

2. 复习康康生日聚会上的活动 (用图片协助回顾)

1、Jane ( )an English song.

2、Helen ( )a Chinese poem.

3、Sally ( ).

4、Tom ( ) magic tricks.

Step 2 Learning (时间:15分钟)

通过听读、略读、精读的方法培养学生的阅读能力;对于课文中出现的重点短语穿插在习题中讲解。

1.Listen to 1a, and write a title for 1a.

2.Read 1a and answer the questions.(extensive reading)

(1)When and where did we have a birthday party?

What did the children do at the birthday party?

Read 1a and answer the questions.(intensive reading)

(1)Why did kangkang like the birthday cards?

(2)How old is kangkang?

(3)What' s the meaning of “blew out the candles” ?

(4)Kangkang bought lots of food and drinks for us.

(5)Each of us had a good time at the party.

Step 3 Discussing(时间:9分钟)

两个人一组根据图片填空,主要复习本课的重点短语。

Look at the pictures and fill the blanks.
