Look! This is my new home. We have a ….
Look! This is my new home. We have a …,… and ….
(Show the pictures and do in pairs in order to review the knowledge that the students learned last class.)
2.Show a picture about Li Ming’s new home . Let the students describe it .Lead in the topic like this : Li Ming’s new home is very nice and beautiful.This class we’ll go on learning Unit 4 Home and let’s see what Li Ming does in his bedroom.(Read the topic together.)
Step 3:Presentation and practice(呈现和操练)
Watch and answer two questions:
①Where are the books ?
②What does Li Ming do in the bedroom ?
(Students watch the flash.)
2.Let’s check the answers.
①Where are the books ? On the desk. So many books on the desk.
First, have the students answer the question .Then correct their pronunciation by making the students follow the tape. Show PPT and have the students understand the word “on”. Then use the school things to practise it.For example : The book is on the desk.The pen is on the chair and so on.
Have the students understand the sentence “So many books on the desk.”(T:Look! A book. Two books. Three books… So many books! )Then have the students follow the tape.(板书句子:So many books on the desk.)
②What does Li Ming do in the bedroom ? I read in my bedroom.
First, have the students answer the question .Then correct their pronunciation by making the students follow the tape. Show PPT and have the students understand the word “in”.
