【Step 1 Pre- Reading】
(出示第二课活动二的四幅图片)T:First ,I’ll show you some pictures,say the phrases as quickly as you can.
S: jump high / get the ball / shoot the ball / run to the basketball.
[设计意图]:通过复习这些动词短语,热身启动,唤醒学生已有知识,为后面的学习做好铺垫。
2.T:(出示第二课图片)These pictures are about the basketball match. In Lesson 2 they played basketball. They had a basketball match.
T:(出示Peter投篮的图片)What did Peter do ?
S: He shot the ball. (学习shot: hot-shot)
T:(出示比分图片) Which class won the match? Class One or Class Two?
S: Class Two.(学习won)
T:Yes , Class Two won the match.
[设计意图]:通过回顾第二课的篮球赛,学习两个动词过去式,shot/ won,为学生后面的阅读扫清障碍。
T: Look , what sport did they play yesterday?
S: They played football.
T: That’s right. They had a football match yesterday. So we use “had” (圈出标题中的had). This class, let’s go on talking about Sports Lesson 3 We had a football match.
设计意图:通过出示主情境图引出本节课将要谈论的主题:Unit 5 Sports Lesson 3 We had a football match.并点明了时间yesterday.
2.T: Boys and girls, what do you want to know about the football match? (生可以用汉语提问,教师根据学生的提问及时板书关键疑问词,如果学生没有提出教师想要的问题,教师最后自己补充,如 Any more ? I got some questions , too.)
S: Who joined the match ? / Which classes ?
Who won?
How did they win ?
What was the score?
How did they feel?/ Feelings?
…
