Ss: I like……
T: I like spring festival because I can have a big dinner with my family members, I can get together with them. I can wear new clothes and shoes, I can receive lucky money. Do you like Spring Festival? Today we’ll learn the story about the Spring Festival——The Story of Nian.
Step2:Presentation.
1、课件展示年的图片Look at this picture, What was Nian?学生形容下年的样子如It's blue./ It's big. / It's strong./ It has a pair of wings. It was very strange. (课件展示中英文)So we can say Nian was a monster .教授monster请学生请来认读,教师及时给与评价。(板书思维导图)接下来出示山中怪兽图片,水中怪兽图片,利用图片句型In the mountain/river, there was a monster.巩固练习单词monster.
2、看图播放年的叫声Do you afraid of Nian? Teach the word “afraid”,
出示短语was afraid of认读并板书。Everyone in the village was afraid of Nian, too.(课件出示图片)Look at this word—village, 分为两部分拼读。出示图二让学生大胆猜测Everyone was afraid of Nian, why? Maybe it is very big /it is very terrible /it will eat people and animals. Now let’s have a look. 课件展示What happened? 播放录音,学习第二幅图内容并板书思维导图。(板书)Nian went to the village and ate many animals.
3、出示图一图二内容,让学生根据图片及所学用关键词介绍Nian.
4、Everyone was afraid of Nian but they don't know what to do. The old man came to the village.(old man 贴图)播放录音He said “Don't be afraid. I have an idea.”
4、Present the question what did he do? Read and find the answer in the text: he put up a couplet and set off fireworks.
5、课件展示贴春联,学习单词couplet和词组put up a couplet.利用实物春联巩固练习单词couplet,随后让学生拿着春联贴到黑板上,其他学生齐读put up a couplet.接下来动画展示放鞭炮,学习单词fireworks及词组set off fireworks. 出示鞭炮道具,学生练习fireworks读音,请同学上台做放鞭炮动作,其他学生一起读set off fireworks. (看图询问)What about the other people? He put up a couplet, he set off fireworks, we can say people followed him.学习followed板书思维导图。
6、出示图三图四,请学生说下老人的办法。
7、出示图片, A few days later, Nian came again. What happened? It was afraid and ran away. Why? Because it saw the red couplets and heard the fireworks.(学习单词heard,结合动作)Guess the result.
8、出示最后一幅图片,询问学生Are they happy? Everyone in the village was happy again.播放录音,生齐读。
9、出示图五图六,学生概括下故事的结局。
Step3:Retell the whole story with the mind map.教师带着学生一起复述,再请个人学生来复述,教师适时给予指导。

The monster:“I am Nian. Everyone is afraid of me. villagers 做害怕表情Now I am hungry, I want to eat some animals.” Animals上场,被吃掉。
Villagers出场,害怕着一起说“What can we do? ”
the old man: Old man出场“Don't be afraid. I have an idea. I will put up couplets and set off fireworks.”做动作
Villagers:“Let's followed him.”一起做贴春联,放鞭炮的动作。
The monster:做害怕状说:“I'm afraid of couplets and fireworks.”逃走
旁白最后一幅图的内容。
