3. Sing a song: Old MacDonald had a farm.

Task1: Let's talk

1. Draw and describe the village

T: Class, Old MacDonald lives in the country. He has a farm. It's very beautiful and interesting. Guo Yang's grandparents live in the country, too. What's the village like? Now, Let's draw and describe the village. Please use the sentence structures: “There is a ...” “There are some...”

从描述村庄引入本课的小组比赛:

T:Today ,we'll have a match. You are apple team and cherry team.

If you do well, you will get a fruit. Try your best to make the

village more beautiful.

【设计意图】借助电视白板画乡村图片,吸引学生的注意力,学生很自然地调动所学句型描述乡村景色,巩固了句型,为语言运用创设情境。同时从描述村庄的景色引入本课的小组比赛,鼓励学生通过努力赢得果实,使村庄更美丽。将课堂评价与学习内容相结合,使课堂评价不空洞,更富有实际意义。

2. Talk about grandparents' yard and vegetable garden.

The teacher points to the village picture : This is Guo Yang's grandparents house. Now, let's go and have a look. Show the pictures on the screen.

T: Wow, the yard is so beautiful. What's in the yard?

S: There are many ducks in the yard.

T: How many ducks does grandma have?

S: Twenty-one.

S: No, it's a goat.
