Step1 lead-in:

1. Greetings

2. Enjoy a song: Holiday is coming!

(设计意图:通过轻松活泼的歌曲导入英语课堂,让学生们感受假期的气氛,唤起孩子的兴趣,为本节课学习 plans for summer holiday 做铺垫。)

Step2 Presentation

1. watch the video and choose:

What are they talking about?

A. plans for summer B. plans for winter

(设计意图:先整体感知语篇,确定故事发生的时间段,引出本节课的关键词 plans,进一步确定本节课的主线。)

2. T: Summer holiday is coming, I’m going to swim. What are you going to do ?
