1.播放Let’s chant版块内容，让学生跟读几遍，然后请学生有节奏地说唱这些句子。
The man is the father_tall,tall,tall
The woman is the mother_not so tall.
That is the son_small,small,small.
They are a family,one and all.
2.同桌之间各自拿着各自家人的照片，互相询问对方。如：
S1:Who’s that boy? S2: Guess.
S1:Is he your father? S2：No, he isn’t. He’s my father.
3.将全班分成若干小组，教师拿出照片提问，每组派一名学生做动作，其他学生根据笑脸哭脸判断回答。如T: Is she your mother? 此学生做笑脸，其他学生回答：Yes, she is.比一比哪个小组成员回答得最整齐。
1．教师请几组学生进行表演上节课Let’s talk版块的对话。最后一组表演完后，教师提问：Who’s that girl? Is she your sister? 在学生疑惑的时候，教师可以展示Mike家里的family tree并介绍：This is Mike’s family tree.同时引出单词sister,可以用顺口溜方式教授：Sister, sister, the girl is my sister.
2.教师让学生们都假装自己是Mike,此时利用利用课件展示一个小男孩，并问：Who’s that boy? S: He’s my brother. 教师板书brother,并用顺口溜方式教授：Brother, brother, the boy is my brother.
3.用同样的方式教读单词father ,mother.
4.教师展示family tree最底层，并问：Who’s that woman? Is she your teacher? S: No, she isn’t. T: She’s mother’s mother or father’s mother.并解释什么意思，引出grandmother/grandma，区分两个单词，grandmother是书面语，grandma是口语。
5.用同样的方法引出最后一个单词grandfather/grandpa,板书并教授。
6.教师接着可以用拆分法讲解单词grandmother=grand+mother; grandfather=grandfather。有利于加强学生记忆。
7.播放Let’s learn版块光盘，学生跟读，学习正确的语音、语调。
完成Let’s chant版块。
1.首先播放Let’s chant版块的录音,让学生熟悉旋律，结合画面理解Help each other的意思，教师点拨并教读这句话。
2.学生在熟悉意思和会读的情况下跟着说唱。
3.学生在只有歌谣的情况下说唱歌词。
4.全班分为两大组进行小组比赛，比一比，谁唱得最好听。 作业设计将Let’s learn版块所学的新单词抄写在四线三格里。给家长唱一唱Let’s chant版块。
