Step 1: Pre-reading

2. Sing a song《Rainbow colors song》and dance
T:“What can you see in the song?”
【设计意图】课前热身歌曲吸引学生兴趣,活跃课堂气氛。游戏引入今天故事学习相关的主题“colors”。
3.Talk about the cover of the book.
T: What can you see in this cover?
T: Are they happy?
T:Why are they happy? What are they drawing?
引出标题——What are you drawing?
【设计意图】通过各种问题培养学生有根据地进行读前推测与想象,为下一步学生阅读故事做好铺垫。
Step2 While-reading。
Show P2-3. T reads the sentence.
T: Who is Mary? Is he Mary? Is she Mary?
T: What is Mary doing?
T: Oh, the colors are missing. Can you help her?
