Step 1. Greetings.
Step 2. Explain today’s lesson and the ways of study---Group work.
Group work: 6 parts, 6 groups. Each group should choose 1 number, and finish the task behind the number.
Step 3. Students choose their number one group by one group, know their own task.(Teacher writes Group and Task on the blackboard.)
Step 4. Guessing game.
1. T: Before we begin our group work, let’s play a guessing game.
2. Teacher gives an example.
T: My birthday month begins with “J”. There are 30 days in the month. There are 4 letters in the word. Which month was I born in? (Write J, 30, 4 on the blackboard)
Students listen carefully, and the student who gets the answer stand up and tell the answer. (Teacher writes the answer ”June” on the blackboard)
Ask two students of Task 3 give riddles, other students guess. (Teacher writes the key information and the answers on the blackboard)
Review the twelve months: Students read the twelve months together.
Step 5.Discussion:
Students work in groups, discuss the correct answers and choose their own small teachers.( 3 minutes) .
