Step1. Revision

Step 2 Lead-in
1. Wonderful. Now we can see the sun is shinning brightly,so we can say it it sunny today.lead to the new words foggy,snowy and so on.
2. Sum up the word formation.
Step 3 pre-listening
Play a game. Look at the pictures and guess the words about weather. Who guess the right answer can get one point.
Finish 1b
Show the picture in 1a,lead to 1a.
Step 4 while-listening
Listen to 1a , answer two questions.
What’s the weather like today?
What was the weather like yesterday?
Listen again and check the answers, then read after the tape.
The whole class read 1a together.
Underline the sentences of asking the weather.Find out the difficult sentences which express greeting and concern.
