教学方式及手段
在课堂教学中,我通过提问、图片等教学方式激活旧知,预交新知,随后利用听力单组织学生进行课文学习和操练,利用课件、图片等现代化教学手段与学生进行学习、反馈、补偿。最后分组进行小组调查,收集儿童节派对上孩子们要表演的节目,并且适当进行小组汇报,交流,让学生从真正意义上使用英语做事情。

教学目标 1. 学生能够使用“What will you do?” “I will … .”谈论打算做的事情。
2. 学生能听懂,会说并认读有关节日活动的单词或词组:have a party, sing a song, dance, play the piano, play the drum,do magic tricks等。
3. 学生能够运用本课所学词汇和句型在调查活动中询问并简单回答儿童节打算做的事情。教学重点和难点重点:
1.能用“What will you do?”“I will … .”等谈论打算做的事情。
2.能听懂、会说、认读有关节日活动的单词或短语。
难点:对“You have a beautiful voice.”的正确理解。
教学过程Step 1 :Warm up & lead in
1. Greeting.
T:Good morning boys and girls. Today there are a lot of teachers in our classroom. Please say “hello” to all the teachers.
Ss: Hello.
T: Very good, sit down please, and let’s begin our class.
Today we will go on leaning Unit 5 Lesson 16, Children’s Day.
2. Presenting the topic: Children’s Day
T: First, let’s enjoy a video about Children’s Day of other countries. Please enjoy it now.
Ss: Watch the video.
3. The date of Children’s Day
T: We also have our own Children’s Day in China. When is our Children’s Day?
S: It’s on June 1st.
4. Activities we can do at the party on Children’s Day
T: We often have a party on Children’s Day.
Look, the children are having the party (presenting a couple of pictures to the pupils) .
What can we do then at the party? Do you know?
Ss: I can dance, I can draw a picture, I want to sing a song…
T: We can sing songs, we can dance, we can draw pictures, you can also play the drum, play the piano, you can also do magic tricks (with gestures).
