Ⅰ. Lead-in:

T: Good morning, class.

Ss: Good morning, teacher.

T: Let’s sing a song “How Are You.”

T: How are you feeling today?

S1: I’m fine.

T: How are you feeling today?

S2: I’m OK.

T: How are you feeling today?

S3: I’m fine.

T: How are you feeling today?

S4: I’m fine.

S5: Teacher, how are you feeling today?

T: I don’t feel well, I have a bad cough and a runny nose. I’m so sad now. Because there will be an English party in our school tomorrow. I hope all my students can enjoy my party. But I’m sorry to hear that some of my students are sick too. Now let’s have a look, what’s the matter with them?

Ⅱ.The Teaching Presentation:

T: Now let’s have a look.

T: What’s the matter with her? Please read after me and do the action----high fever.
